We are spoilt for choices when it comes to shopping in the Klang Valley. Recently we have witnessed the official opening of Pavillion in the heart of KL followed by the soft opening of The Sphinx @ Sunway Pyramid Phase 2.
Now adding on to the list of shopping hubs in this metropolis will be The Gardens @ Mid Valley where the tag line goes “It’s about You”.

The branding of The Gardens
If you happen to drive along the Federal Highway, you will definitely get to catch a glimpse of the newly opened “The Gardens” when you passed by Mid Valley Megamall. I chose not to visit Mid Valley during the weekends due to the horrific traffic jam around the mall. However, you just can’t miss this sophisticated shopping hub.

The top floor of The Gardens
This reminds me of KLCC. Don’t you think so?

The second floor of The Gardens
I must apologize for this blurry picture as it was taken by my PDA. If you do notice, Fossil is available in The Gardens as an independent store. Fossil is usually seen as a watch counter in major departmental stores, right?

Why are there so many Palm trees?
I think they should rename this place “Palm Spring” instead of The Gardens. There are just so many palm trees at the ground floor. Nevertheless, it is just so comfortable in ‘The Gardens’ that people doze off on the sofas provided by the management.

Robinsons Departmental Store hail all the way from Singapore
Robinsons caters for the Rich Si Lai higher status market. If you do not earn at least RM10,000 a month, I suggest you do not enter this store. I tried on a dress (Coast London) in here and my jaw dropped dead when I saw the price tag smiling at me. Guess how much it is?
RM 499!! [What the fish?]

Gosh! The dress is just SO SO Beautiful on me!
How can this cost RM499? Oh my goodness. No matter how much I love this dress, I will not fork out 500 bucks for it.

A brand new look of Isetan
The Gardens just happens to be a upmarket shopping mall for the rich and big spenders. Fashion-chasers and for those who desire to go after materialism, you will be happy. Brands like Coach, Armani Xchange, Banana Republic, Guess, Bread & Butter, Club Monaco, CK, DKNY and et cetera have made their paths in here.

Banana Republic, the subsidiary of GAP from USA
Even Banana Republic has two shoplots in The Gardens as compared to only one shop in KLCC. But it’s freaking expensive to own any apparel from Banana Republic. How can a shirt or a blouse cost a bloody RM399?? That is DAY LIGHT Robbery!

It is like a banana telling you “Hi, I’m bred in the land of gold called Banana Republic. Thus I cost RM399!”
Anyway, just prepare a Credit Card or lots of Cash if you make a trip down to The Gardens.
Happy Shopping, dudes!
